Project Overview
· Location:Houjie, Dongguan, Guangdong, China
· Capacity:3.72 MW (3,720 kW)
· Completion Date:Dec 23, 2025
· System Type:Grid-Tied / On-Grid System
· Rooftop Type:Concrete Flat Rooftop
Project Background
As a key manufacturing hub in Dongguan, Houjie is home to密集 industries such as furniture, electronics, and machinery, where enterprises face high electricity loads and rising power costs. To respond to the national "Dual Carbon" initiative and mitigate escalating commercial electricity rates, the owner of this large industrial park decided to install a solar power plant acrossmultiple concrete rooftop buildings.Singfo Solar, with extensive experience in large-scale C&I projects in the Pearl River Delta and proven project management capabilities, was awarded the EPC contract.
Singfo Solar Solution
Considering themultiple concrete flat rooftopsacross the industrial park, we designed a customized3.72MW On-Grid Systemunder the "self-consumption with surplus feed-in" model to maximize returns:
-High-Efficiency Modules:Utilized large-format high-power monocrystalline modules to enhance power density, taking full advantage of the strong load-bearing capacity of concrete rooftops.
-Concrete Rooftop Solution:Adoptedconcrete base blocks + tilt brackets, eliminating the need to penetrate the existing waterproof layer while optimizing the tilt angle for maximum power generation. The mounting system was rigorously tested for wind load and structural safety, ensuring over 25 years of stable operation.
-Multi-Building Centralized Grid Integration:Implemented amulti-point connection with centralized monitoringapproach, aggregating power from multiple buildings and feeding it into the park’s main distribution room for efficient clean energy utilization.
-Smart Monitoring & O&M:Deployed an enterprise-level intelligent monitoring platform for centralized monitoring and energy analysis across multiple buildings, enabling remote diagnostics and proactive O&M to significantly reduce long-term maintenance costs.
Environmental & Economic Impact
Commissioned in late December 2025, the system is expected to deliver significant economic and environmental benefits:
-Annual Output:Approximately4,280,000 kWh.
-Emission Reduction:Saves about1,412 tonsof standard coal and reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately3,550 tonsannually, equivalent to planting190,000 trees.
-Economic Benefit:Based on Dongguan’s industrial electricity prices and surplus feed-in revenue, the payback period is estimated at5–6 years, with over 20 years of low-cost green power remaining, significantly reducing operating costs and enhancing the client’s green competitiveness.
-Demonstration Value:As one of the largest C&I solar projects in Houjie, this case serves as a replicable model for low-carbon transformation for manufacturing enterprises with multiple buildings.
